NYT reports that the kingdom (yes dear, kingdom) of Bhutan, nestled in the Himalayas and one of the most isolated places on earth, might have figured out a better standard of living indicator that Per Capita GDP (Gross Domestic Product) or other mumble jumble that the Bureau of Labor Statistics spins out.  It's the GNH, or Gross National Happiness.  Since life is fundamentally about happiness rather than wealth, by golly I think they may be onto something.

 

Oh, remind me not to move to Indonesia.  Poor AND Unhappy, not good.
